This dataset displays the November 4, 2014 Gubernatorial General Election designated polling places within the County of San Diego.
The Registrar of Voters per California Elections Code 12286, establishes precincts and defines their boundaries is required to provide a single polling place per precinct (not including vote-by-mail precincts) where a voter entitled to vote in more than one district may cast all of his or her ballots.
NOTE: Polling locations may change up to the day of the election. Please contact the Registrar of Voters to insure the correct polling location for the designated precinct or visit sdvote.com.
As a function of election administration, the County of San Diego is subdivided into precinct tracts (home precincts), assigning voters to specific precincts based on their domicile.
A geographic representation of the County boundary created from fund numbers which are provided by the County Auditor/Controller's Property Tax Services (PTS) Division.
California State Senate boundaries that was adopted for the June 2012 primary elections. Boundaries located within San Diego County were extracted and the data was reprojected into SanGIS standard projection and clipped to the County of San Diego.
