This layer displays roadways in Wisconsin that may be eligible to apply for Agricultural Road Improvement Program (ARIP) funding. Potentially eligible roads are those functionally classified as local roads or minor collectors throughout the state of Wisconsin. Other eligibility requirements are laid out in Wis. Stat. 86.31 (3o).
The map will provide a tool that will allow local government to quickly determine if specific roadways are potentially eligible to apply for the ARIP funding program.
The underlying data used in this map is a snapshot extracted from the Wisconsin Information Systems for Local Roads (WISLR) database on 4/20/2023 and queried to include only local roads and minor collectors. The data is scheduled to be updated on a yearly basis and thus recent changes to WISLR centerlines or changes in functional class may not be accurately reflected.REQUIRED: A brief narrative summary of the data set.
