Description: Under Wis. Stats. s. 348.27(9) , and Wis. Admin. Code Ch. Trans 251 and Trans 253, the department may issue annual or consecutive month permits, for the transportation of loads near the Michigan/Wisconsin state line, mostly for transport of timber/lumber. This layer meets the following language from the statute:

The transportation of loads over any class of highway for a distance not to exceed 11 miles from the Michigan-Wisconsin state line if the vehicle or combination of vehicles does not violate length or weight limitations under Michigan law.
