It is one of the products of the Regional GIS Co-Op, aiming at establishing one integrated and definitive city boundary layer to be used by all jurisdictions and regional agencies. Any changes and adjustments of the boundaries will be reviewed and approved by all jurisdictions affected based on a defined process.Sacramento City boundary was reviewed by City GIS staff based on legal descriptions and the best possible interpretations to ensure accuracy and consistency. This layer is to be used as our city boundary data in replacement of citybndy.shp
