Description: The Datum of the majority of the City of Sacramento benchmarks is the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD 29) and was based upon a plane datum with reference to four U.S. Government monuments. Some North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD 88) differential baselines have been conducted and the elevations of those benchmarks have been included and identified in this database.
