Created using a combination of GIS and parks departments data for all partnership jurisdictions of Northern Virginia Regional Commission data available in September 2019. Also used National Park Sevice, Northern Virginia Regional Commission, and ESRI base topographic GIS map information to create the GIS layer. Street side parks, schools, and playground and ball field only parks were removed from the park GIS data received from the region's jurisdictions.
