Description: The Bicycle Priority Network analysis identified a connected network of Tier 1 and Tier 2 priority bicycle facilities in urban areas throughout the county and prioritizes separated bicycle facilities to create a safe and connected bicycle network for users of all ages and abilities and encourage bicycling as a means of transportation to places people live, work, learn, play and access transit. When separated bicycle facilities are not feasible, then buffered bicycle facilities are preferred. When neither separated nor buffered bicycle facilities are possible, then at minimum a dedicated bicycle lane is desired to ensure a connected bicycle facility network.
