Hawaii Irrigation Systems - Statewide (6/28/2019); Feature class of irrigation systems in the State of Hawaii as of 6/28/2019. Description: Irrigation system line features derived from the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) NHDFlowline and NHDLine feature classes (December 2006).
Source: Department of Land and Natural Resources, Commission on Water Resource Management (CWRM).
History: Created as part of an update of the Agricultural Water Use and Development Plan (AWUDP) 2008. Line features derived from NHDFlowline and NHDLine feature classes (Dec. 2006). Additional attributes added from CWRM resources and updated and verified by the University of Hawai‘i, College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) under contract by the Hawai‘i Department of Agriculture (DOA). Continuous feature class updates by CWRM. Feature class downloaded from CWRM database on 6/28/2019.

Sys_Name: Irrigation System Name.
SubSys_Nam: Irrigation Sub-System Name.
Type: Feature Type. Physical feature type derived from NHD Flowline and Line feature classes (Artificial Path, Canal, CanalDitch, Ditch, Flume, Penstock, Pipeline, ReservoirPath, Siphon, StreamPath, Tunnel).
Status: Last known ‘status’. (Abandoned, Active, Inactive, Removed, Unknown). See attribute fields: ‘Notes’, ‘Source’, ‘Creation Date’, ‘Creator’, ‘Edit Date’, and ‘Editor’ for ‘Status’ source and dates.
Operator: Irrigation system owner or operator.
Notes: Additional description system and/or ‘status’.
Source: Citation for attribute fields.
Create_Dat: Date of creation.
Creator: Creation source citation.
Edit_Date: Date edited.
Editor: Editor identification.
NHDPermID: Feature ‘Permanent identification number’ of source NHDFlowline feature class.
AWUDP_ID: ‘Indentification number’ or ‘ComID’ of source feature class from Agricultural Water Use and Development Plan.
Island: Island name.
