Service Description: This feature class/shapefile represents Natural Gas Compressor Stations. Natural Gas Compressor Stations support the transportation flow of natural gas in pipelines from one location to another by maintaining pressure in the pipeline to provide energy to move the natural gas. Geographical coverage includes the Continental United States and Canada (provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan). The updates for this release include the addition of 401 new facilities including 6 in California, 1 in Texas, 266 in Alberta, 6 in British Columbia, and 106 in Saskatchewan. Also the COMPID field length was changed from 10 to 15 to accommodate the value of "NOT AVAILABLE".
