Service Description: Internal Waters from the VLIZ Maritime Boundaries Geodatabase. The Internal Waters are the area of the seas enclosed between the landward side of the Straight baselines and the seaward side of the normal baselines (coastline). Marine Regions makes available most of the maritime areas defined in the Law of the Sea Convention: Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ), Territorial Seas (TS), Contiguous Zones (CZ), Internal Waters (IW) and Archipelagic Waters (AW).
