Description:

Road Centrelines, segmented by Asset ID, within Bundaberg Regional Council region, including roads controlled by Bundaberg Regional Council and Department of Transport and Main Road, and Private Roads.

Header Name	Description
Road No	Road Number, is a unique number assigned to each road (all road segments). The road number is assigned when a new road is entered into the Approved Road Name Register (see Objective ID: A2594896).
Route No	Route Number, is a unique number assigned to each road or road route (end to end). The Route Number for undivided roads shall be identical to the Road Number, and apply to all sections or segments of the road. A divided road, eg. where the road is a 'Y' shape, will have a minimum of two sections. The Route Number will be a decimal number for each continuous section of the divided road. The whole number is identical to the Road Number, and a unique decimal number (2 decimal places) is applied to each continuous road section of the divided road.
Asset ID	Asset ID, provides a unique identification for referencing a road segment through-out the local government area.
Road Name	Road Name, is a name that has been approved by Council for public roads, or a name identifying a unnamed public road, private road or Council internal road.
Locality	Locality, is the name of the gazetted 'Locality' that the road segment is wholly, or majority of road segment is located in.
Alternate Road Name	Alternate Road Name, is a name that the road is commonly or also known as.
Start_Chge	Start Chainage, is the Asset road segment Start Chainage (Chge) in metres, for each road segment, measured along the road centreline of the carriageway.
End_Chge	End Chainage, is the Asset road segment End Chainage (Chge) in metres, for each road segment, measured along the road centreline of the carriageway.
Start_Road_Name	Segment Start Road Name, is the name of an intersecting road at the start of the road segment. Where there is no intersection road, the segment start road name is the same as the segment road name.
End_Road_Name	Segment End Road Name, is the name of an intersecting road at the start of the road segment. Where there is no intersection road, the segment start road name is the same as the segment road name.
Segment_From_To	Segment From To, describes from where the Road Segment starts and ends. It is a combination of the Start/End Road Name, and where the Start/End Road Name is the same Road Name as the Road Segment, the chainage is added to define the start/end.
Length	Segment Length (m), is the approimate length of each road segment, measured along the road centreline of the carriageway.
Control Type	Control Type, identifies the type of road, such as public, private or type of Council road, and which governing body, person(s) or entity that controls the road segment, see Road Type Definition.
Asset Type	Asset Type, describes the function of the road segment, such as road, floodway, bridge or roundabout, see Road Attribute Matrix, Table B - Road Asset Types.
Category	Category is the general categorisation of the road segment, such as Sealed Road, Unsealed, or Road Reserve Area Only.. Refer Road Category Definition for further details.
Category Type	Category Type, identifies the Category of the road segment, such as Sealed Road, Gravelled Road, Formed Road, etc. Refer Road Category Definitiion for further details.
Surface Type	Surface Type, identifies the type of sealed surface for a sealed road segment, or surface of unsealed road segment. Refer to Road Attribute Matrix for further details.
Classification BRC	Classification BRC, identifies what the road segment is classed as, either a rural or urban road.
Classification GC	Classification GC, identifies what the road segment is classed as, either a rural or urban road, as defined by the Grants Commission (GC).
Hierarchy	Hierarchy, identifies the road hierarchy for each road segment, as documented by the Bundaberg Regional Council Planning Scheme 2015 or Department of Transport and Main Roads.
LRRS Roads
Responsible Authority	Responsible Authority, identifies which governing body, entity or person(s) who is responsible for the road area or road segment.
Maintenance Status	Maintenance Level, identifies if a road segment is maintained under the general maintenance program, that is the responsibility of Bundaberg Regional Council.
Maintenance_Zone	Maintenance Zone of BRC Civil Works Group.
ADT_vpd	ADT vehicles per day.
ADT_Percent_HV	Percentage of classified Heavy Vehicles.
ADT_Percent_85_Speed	85th Percentile Speed.
ADT_Type	Type of ADT Data, ie. Actual Traffic Count, Calculated Data, etc.
ADT_Counter_Date	Traffic Counter Station Recording Date.
ADT_Review_Data	Date of review of road segment ADT attributes.
Counter_STN_ID	Traffic Counter Station ID.
Terrain_Classification	Slope Characteristics of Surface determined from LIDAR model. Level (<5%), Rolling (5% to 15%), Mountainous (>15%)
Environment_Classification	Environment (Soil) Characteristics.
Water_Crossing	Known name of Water Crossing (River/Creek) that road segement crosses.
Bridge_Name	Known name of Bridge (Bridge/Major Culvert).
Future_Road_Name	Approved Road Name by BRC for future roads.
Map Grid Reference	Map and Grid Reference on Road Register Map.
GIS_Comments	General comments by GIS regarding road segment.
Work_Order_No	Work Order Number, is the number assigned to each road provided by the Civil Works Group for the maintenance work.
