Description: School data points derived from checking addresses for schools against school web sites; once verified those were geocoded using the ESRI World Geocoder. The resultant coordinates are contained in the GeoCoded_Y / GeoCoded_X fields. This places the points at the geocoded position based on the ESRI World Geocoder which in some cases is not very accurate for placing the point close to or on the school building.Positional data was obtained from NCES, and those data points were correlated and linked to the current OSPI schools list to derive positional data that placed the location on the building centroid and populated into the NCES_Y / NCES_X fields to place the data point.Schools that did not link were geocoded in either Google Maps or Bing Maps and the coordinates for the building centroid were derived from that process and populated into the NCES_Y / NCES_X fields using HUD to place the data point.Changes to the published 2022 Legislative boundaries required recompilation of the Legislative District data column. Mailing addresses have not been verified. School physical address data is consolidated into a single line entry in the SingleAddress field.
