Description: This set of feature services includes polygons that represents wildfire perimeters for four eras going back to 1859 as well as number of times burned between 1859 and 2021.  Also included are representations of forested stands in Marin's fine scale vegetation map shown by fire return interval (1859-1940) and number of times burned (1859-2021).  Note that Arthur Dawson's spatial reconstruction of Marin's fire history does not include undocumented fires or pre-1930 wildfires less than approximately 160 acres. Also note that the horizontal accuracy of pre-1940 perimeters is much lower than that of more recent fire perimeters.
