Description: The Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail is a partially existing trail that follows the Potomac River. When the trail is completed it will connect Harpers Ferry West Virginia and Northern Loudoun County to central Virginia. The existing and planned alignments are displayed. Sections with unknown alignments are not displayed. Major connecting trails are also displayed. The creation of the trails data layer was a cooperative effort among the National Park Service and the jurisdictions that are represented by the Northern Virginia Regional Commission. Created using a combination of Loudoun, Arlington, and Prince William County trails GIS layers, and National Park Sevice and Northern Virginia Regional Commission information. Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC) is not liable for any use of or reliance upon this map or data, or any information contained herein. While reasonable efforts have been made to obtain accurate data, NVRC makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as to its accuracy or completeness for use of any purpose.
